These public meetings can provide the foundation for a community development program for parks designed to enhance the quality of life with every citizen.  It is imperative that the citizens take part in these meetings. \nThe Town of Stanton will conduct an in-person meeting and a Social Media Input Meeting on the below dates: \n  \nIn Person: March 17\, 2026 @ 6:00 pm @ City Hall \n  \nFebruary 7\, 2026 – March 31\, 2026  – Social Media Posting on the \nTown of Stanton TN Government Facebook page – \nPublic Comments encouraged \n  \nThe purpose of these meetings are to discuss the Town’s intent to submit an application to the State of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation for a Local Parks and Recreation Grant (LPRF) and to solicit input from the citizens regarding recreational needs within the Town. \nThe public is urged to attend. Stanton\, Tennessee does not discriminate on the basis of race\, color\, religion\, sex\, handicap or national origin. The meeting place is handicap accessible.
