The Town of Stanton, Tennessee, hereby provides certain financial information for the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget in accordance with the requirements of Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 6, Chapter 56, Section 206. There will be a public hearing concerning the budget and related ordinances at the Stanton Town Hall (8 Main Street, Stanton, TN) on Tuesday, June 17 at 6:30 pm. All citizens are welcome to participate. The budget and all supporting data are a public record and are available for public inspection by anyone at the Office of the Town Recorder.

The Stanton Board of Mayor and Alderman will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 6:30pm at the Stanton Town Hall. The Stanton Board of Mayor and Alderman will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 6:30pm at the Stanton Town Hall. The hearing is to receive public input regarding a proposed ordinance: Repeal and Replace Title 13 (Property Maintenance) of the Stanton Municipal Code A full copy of the ordinances may be viewed at Town Hall or at StantonTN.gov.

The Stanton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 5:30pm at the Stanton Town Hall. The hearing is to receive public input regarding the proposed amendments to the Stanton Subdivision Regulations by amending provisions regarding Definitions and Final Plat Content. A full copy of the amendment may be viewed at Town Hall or at StantonTN.gov.

The Stanton Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold a special call meeting on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 5:30 pm. The purpose of the meeting will be for the first reading of the Town’s Fiscal Year 2026 budget and related ordinances. The public is welcome to attend.

The Stanton Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold public hearings on resolutions and ordinances for a proposed annexed territory at its May 21, 2025 meeting at 6:30pm at the Stanton Town Hall. The public hearing will pertain to the proposed annexed territories identified as Haywood County Tax Map 137, Parcel 003.00, having a resolution adopting the plan of services, a resolution to annex certain territory, and an ordinance amending the official zoning map, The proposed territory is a tract measuring 1.24-acres and is located along Hwy 222 across from Keeling Rd.
